Our Dikeledi woven jacquard textile is just the beginning of a remarkable journey. Its distinctive pattern carries a name of great significance: Dikeledi, after my beloved grandmother.

This pattern weaves a heartfelt narrative, one deeply rooted in the legacy left by my grandmother—the traditional Prayer stick. It is often said that my passion for fashion finds its roots in her, and that's precisely why her Prayer stick takes pride of place at the heart of the Thabo Makhetha logo. Just as she did throughout her life, this design serves as a gentle yet profound reminder to keep God at the center of everything we do.

This textile is a heartfelt tribute to my grandmother, my lifelong guardian angel, and her enduring influence. Crafted from 100% cotton, this lightweight jacquard fabric stands as a pioneering addition to Thabo Makhetha's new collection of woven textiles, marking the beginning of an exciting creative journey.
